The Kingston Care Home is excellent and my friend is very happy and so well looked after. She is cared for by the caring staff - nothing is too much trouble - the care home is extremely well run by the manager and very clean. I am a retired trained nurse and if needs be I would choose the Kensington.

The staff at the Kensington are really wonderful, all friendly, helpful and attentive. My father is really well looked after even though she has dementia. The food is fantastic and my father looks forward to his meals. The staff always seem very active and provide a wide range of activities for my father
to do we well as all the care he needs. If I could pick out one individual it would be this particular member of staff who seems to be able to give that extra touch all the time!

The unit manager is good and always helpful. The housekeeper manager is very good and helpful.
Some genuine members of staff could be more helpful.
The food is very good and plentiful.
Feel as a full-paying resident it is very expensive.

My 94-year-old father entered Kensington Care Home for respite care at very short notice. Kensington Care Home couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly. They immediately welcomed him and he received excellent care which enabled him to make a good recovery.
Dad quickly made new friends, ate
lovely meals and started to experience the lifestyle he had enjoyed previously - without the stress of coping with daily tasks. He enjoyed being well looked after and regaining a social life, even meeting his new friends for a glass of wine before dinner.
Kensington's approach is professional as well as having the human touch and caring deeply for the needs and best interests of all its residents. Moving into full-time care was a difficult concept for Dad but being at Kensington has been such a positive experience that he has never looked back and now thinks living here has been an excellent move. It has given him back a quality of life that had previously begun to decline.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. A week of recuperation after a hip replacement. The rooms are lovely and the whole building is clean and bright. Staff are superb and nothing is too much trouble. Even the food is good! What is not to like? I 100% recommend Kensington Care Home.

From the first visit, I felt welcomed. The home feels more like a hotel than a care home. It is bright and light, with a friendly, warm atmosphere. It is spotless, and the food is of good quality. The staff are always friendly and supportive and nothing is ever too much trouble. Although my mother did
not wish to be there, I feel very comfortable that she was in safe hands 24/7 and her needs were met 100%. Mum and I particularly enjoyed the garden, getting outside when mobility is restricted is so important for the resident's well-being. I would highly recommend the home.

On the whole, the care is extremely good and senior staff is soon aware and responsive to any health issues. All staff are pleasant, caring and kind. There would appear to be a regular turnover of staff, I have observed some caring and dedicated staff leaving, I would imagine for better-paid employment.
The best care home I've come into contact with.

My mother-in-law has been a resident since last year with dementia, she has had first class care from all the staff and has settled very well. My mother was admitted to Kinsington two months ago, she has received excellent care and attention from all the staff who care for her. I am pleased to say with all the professional support and care she has settled in very well. She likes all the care staff and the other residents as her companions.
My mother is well cared for and treated with the utmost dignity and respect. The staff have gone the extra made in understanding her care needs and it shows in their care delivery.
