I think it's brilliant. Wonderful food. I am really well looked after. It is lovely because your family can come in and are welcomed. Two staff members in particular are top of the pops, and the chefs are wonderful and all the carers are fantastic. Lovely to have the outside areas and internal decor
beautiful but also comfy.

I am so pleased with how my father settled into the home. He had a welcoming greeting when he arrived. He was given a choice from the chef for lunch and chose sirloin steak. The chef will cook meals anytime. My father put on 2lbs in the first week. The location is ideal, close to the town centre, my
father was still able to walk to his barbers/paper shop with one of the carers. All staff are friendly, helpful and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. The home has a five-star hotel feeling with five-star food and care. After my father's first week, I was so happy to see him relaxed, happy and his confidence returning. I left with a tear in my eye.

Gaynor Scott is the proud Manager of Langham Manor, a newly commissioned, purpose-built luxury care home. Having watched Langham Manor take shape from its earliest construction stages, she was thrilled to step into the role of manager, bringing her passion for high-quality care and leadership to the home.


With 24 years of experience in both the NHS and private healthcare sectors, Gaynor is a registered adult nurse with a Diploma in Acute Stroke Management and Rehabilitation, alongside an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management. Throughout her career, she has held key roles as an RGN, Ward Sister, Clinical Lead, and Deputy Manager, building an impressive portfolio of skills and knowledge to lead the team at Langham Manor.


Gaynor is dedicated to recruiting and supporting a team committed to providing exceptional care across all departments. She believes in fostering an environment where every staff member feels valued and empowered in their role. Guided by Morar’s ethos, “Life is for Living,” Gaynor is passionate about creating a safe, enriching experience where residents feel at home and inspired to embrace this new chapter of their lives.


Beyond her role, Gaynor enjoys family life with her three children, grandson, and her chocolate Labradoodle. When she’s not at Langham Manor, she loves spending time with her family, visiting her hometown of Liverpool, supporting Liverpool FC, and travelling to experience new cultures—Thailand being one of her favourite destinations.
