With a deep-rooted passion for elderly residential care, Susan Capindale has been actively involved in the care sector for over 20 years. Her journey began with volunteering at care homes during school holidays, evenings, and weekends, which sparked her dedication to care. After studying Health and Social Care, Susan pursued a full-time career, driven by her desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents.
In 2013, Susan progressed to the role of Registered Manager, achieving her Level 5 in Leadership and Management. Her commitment to continuous learning led her to join the Lincolnshire community as a Falls Ambassador and Safeguarding Ambassador, roles that have strengthened her ability to enhance residents’ well-being and safety. Susan’s efforts have been recognised, as she was named a Care Home Manager finalist for the Lincolnshire Care Association Managers Award in both 2018 and 2022.
Susan is dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care in a homely environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect. Outside of her professional role, she cherishes time with family and friends and has a passion for horses. Susan enjoys riding her ex-racehorse and spending time at the stables, finding joy and relaxation in the experience.
