We have found a nursing care home whose staff give great care and attention to our relative's needs.
This is a great relief at a time of worry,the nursing home runs a program of activity that the residents can join in.

We moved our dad into Linden House, as he was suffering with Dementia and needed a more specific needs, that his last care home could provide and Linden House have met his needs
He very happy here, in fact when I came to take him out for a hospital appointment, he got outside turned around and went
back inside.
Linden House has Activity Coordinator and are always uploading pictures of what's going in the home

My sister had to move from her care home to Linden House cos she needed more specialist care I've been pleased with the care and attention she has received while being in there care they inform me when ever my sister is unwell or has a fall all the staff are friendly kind and caring would recommend
this home to all who need care for a loved one

It has not been an easy decision to move Mum into the care of others. When viewing the home it was important that it was a warm safe environment with staff that could give her the right care and meet her needs due to advanced Alzheimer's and complex needs. From day one of moving Mum into Linden House
we have been impressed with the warmth, calm relaxed approach and kindness that all staff have shown not just to my mum but all residents. I can honestly say Linden House work as an excellent team. They communicate well with Mum, getting to know her personally about her life, taking the time to listen to her has enabled staff to understand her wishes likes/dislikes etc. which has resulted in her being happy and more contented. There are always plenty of activities throughout the day to keep Mum occupied should she wish to join in. Staff work hard to encourage and support residents to attend activities on offer. It is the staff that makes a nursing home good and Linden House has that.

I am pleased to confidently say that the care given by all of the team at Linden is actually quite exceptional. From Management, Nursing, Carer's Housekeeping, Catering and maintenance the unit is well run with an ethos of trying to continuously improve and make life for residents safe and enriched.
Our loved one has some quite specific additional challenges so it's wonderful that the team always ensure he is enabled to be included in activities specific to his interests and preferences. The team is always on the lookout for any issues, very quick to react and great at keeping us informed and included. It's a comfort to know he is well looked after and cared about as an individual. Thank you.

My dad resides at Linden House Nursing Home, a placement that was decided by social services. I knew nothing about Linden House, but I am pleased to say that my dad receives excellent care and attention. The staff are kind and understanding, treating my dad with respect and keeping me informed of changes,
appointments etc. I am very pleased with his placement and the care he receives even though he is not the easiest resident to look after.

When my mum was diagnosed with dementia it was difficult to accept the obvious. Following hospital treatment, I had to find a suitable but limited home for her. Following an evaluation of the list provided by the mental health team, I finally decided that one was the best option. Mum was allowed to
reside in the chosen room and was well looked after. The staff looked after her and met her needs. I was totally supported by the staff, particularly in Mum's final week of life. Staff kept me updated on her condition etc. Linden House has been very good with Mum and met her needs. It was even a surprise that 2 members of staff had the decency to attend the church at Mum's funeral.
I would strongly recommend the care home to anyone seeking a suitable home for their family members suffering from dementia. They work very hard to meet personal needs and adhere to required standards.

My dad has been at the care home for over a year and myself and family visit weekly. As his dementia has progressed he has become more confused and contrary. The staff are super good with dealing with my dad and cannot thank them enough for carrying out a very difficult job with not enough credit.

My dad is very happy at Linden House. Every member of staff takes the time to speak to residents like they are "still human" not just people who no longer understand their environment. The patience, care, professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile with all residents means that we know my dad
is safe and looked after. The home is flexible and always makes an effort to celebrate and raise awareness of birthdays and special events taking place in the world. I would have no hesitation in recommending the managers and the team at Linden House to care for your loved ones. Thank you!

I visit regularly and have found the staff to be kind and caring on all occasions. My father is cared for with kindness and compassion. Due to his illness and condition, he can be difficult and hard to manage. The care he receives is excellent. The staff take time to answer any questions I have and
take time with my dad helping him with his daily tasks. I cannot thank the team enough for all that they do.

Linden House Nursing Home is a very welcoming unit. Staff are always happy and helpful and informative. My husband receives very good care. He enjoys his meals which are very good. He always looks clean and well-dressed. Emergency care is always dealt with promptly and relatives are informed.

Minu Mathew

Job Title: Registered Home Manager

Joined: 2016

Minu is the Home Manager of Linden House Care Home. She moved to UK in 2011 after she passed the qualifying exams for NMC and got her PIN in 2012 after successfully passing the Overseas Nurses Programme with City University London.


She has worked her way up in the role starting as a care assistant while studying at the University. She then worked as a senior care assistant and once she gained her PIN worked in the role of Nurse, Sister, Clinical Lead Nurse and Unit Manager in 2015 in a Dementia unit. Minu has also gained her NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management 2021. She has also done the Palliative Passport with Springhill Hospice.


Although Minu is a Registered General Nurse, her passion is to work with individuals living with Dementia. Minu emphasises Person Centred Approach as she is a great believer in the uniqueness of individuals- ‘Every individual is a unique existence of this world’.
