The home is located in a quiet residential area, whilst being close to transport links and local amenities and attractions.

Marham House is operated by Anchor. Anchor has more than 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people. Marham House continues to welcome new residents for residential and residential dementia care.

The dedicated care team gets to know each resident, working with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans so that their needs are always met. The Lifestyle Team are on hand to ensure that each resident enjoys each day as they wish to.

High quality dementia care is provided to residents living with the condition by colleagues who are fully trained to ensure the best approach.

The care team provides individual and compassionate care by getting to know each individual and building strong relationships with them and their loved ones.

My aunt has been a resident at Marham House for a month now. She has had a marvellous time, nothing is too much trouble and the staff have been kind and attentive at all times. All the staff know her by name, spend time talking with her and look out for her. The food has been amazing, and as visitors
we have enjoyed the tea and cake in the afternoon! When visiting we have always been greeted cheerfully, with an update on our aunt's day. The staff have been available at all times to help and care for her. A dream home!

My father-in-law needed respite care after being injured in a traffic accident. The staff at Marham House did a thorough review of his needs prior to his stay. They made him feel welcome and safe and were excellent at answering all of our questions. We can't thank them enough for turning an upsetting
incident into such a positive experience for all of us.

The team at Marham House have been amazing in helping my mum to transition from her own home. It's a difficult time for all the family but they have worked with care, compassion and cheerfulness to help her to settle in. The facilities at the home are fantastic. The activities are fun and joyful but
most of all the staff are always friendly, supportive and fun to be around. I always enjoy visiting the home and my mum enjoys her life there.

My mother became a resident of this wonderful care home in August. The improvement in her well-being, and interaction with staff and other residents, has been wonderful to see. She regularly participates in varied and enjoyable daily activities and has enjoyed the highest standard of care possible.

I have been to this home several times and have always been made so welcome by the lovely staff. I visit a dear friend, her room is lovely and very clean. There is always something going on and the atmosphere is wonderful. We always have tea or coffee and homemade cakes. The food looks amazing and my
friend is very happy there.

What can I say, Marham House has provided my dad, grandad and great-grandad a wonderful life full of love, laughter and happiness. Dad is no longer alone, sad and scared. The Marham House family are a very large part of Dad's and our lives. They are kind, caring, always helpful to Dad and all the other
residents. Thank you for the very smooth room change. Dad's settling in well, he was keen to be on the ground floor like ourselves and the team and management helped his wishes come true. Thank you to everyone.

Marham House Care Home has improved to no end since the new manager arrived. She and the staff are professional in their approach. They care about the residents and take pride in helping the resident folk and the home in general. There is a warm welcome whenever we arrive to visit Mum and the manager
is always happy to listen to any suggestions. I feel happy knowing Mum is now in the best place for her and me.

Thank goodness for the new manager, appointed January 2024. She has made an enormous beneficial change in a short period, in the face of huge inherited problems. The home is now properly managed so that residents are treated with respect and their needs are well managed by carer staff without favour
or previously displayed malice. Staff appear more motivated to do an excellent job of caring and identifying when residents need specific attention. Keep up these improvements and it will be second to none in the area, with excellent facilities and kindness shown at every opportunity. Truly, well done for providing such a comfortable place for residents to feel secure and happy.

Marham House Care Home has been a special place for my mum and us as daughters. The staff are so kind and helpful. We feel Mum is safe there and well looked after. The lifestyle ladies make such a difference to life in a care home. We will miss the home manager greatly but wish the new manager every

My mother thinks she is on an extended holiday. The layout and fittings of this care home lend themselves to a calm and pleasant environment. The staff are responsive and well trained. The activities team are enthusiastic and creative, we and my mother are very happy.

I'm very pleased with the help, care, support and encouragement that my brother has received. He feels fully accepted for who he is and valued as a person. He feels comfortable and at home at Marham House and your care and support has been a big factor in aiding his recovery from a recent long spell
in hospital. We were both very grateful that staff kept in touch with him while he was hospitalised for 5 weeks. Marham House has been a wonderful blessing to us.

My mother stayed at Marham on a 4 week trial but was given notice to leave after 2 weeks. The reason given was her night shouting for help, which disturbed residents. No effort was made by management to find out the reasons for the shouting i.e speaking to a GP, she was just asked to leave. The care
home she is in now have managed to address the problem after only 1 week. It was connected to pain management at night, something Marham could easily have investigated. I'm very disappointed in Marham House as a care home.

My mother had a month respite care following an operation - she was welcomed into the home and made friends - nothing was too much trouble for the staff. On her return home, she realised that she needed this help and has returned as a permanent resident. The staff made the transition for both her and
us in a kind and thoughtful manner. Staff make time to be with the residents and always addressing them by name. Marham House Care Home is clean and welcoming and is a credit to the team working here.
