Marham House is located in Bury St Edmunds and provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 66 residents. Each spacious bedroom benefits from an en suite wet room. The home is located in a quiet residential area, whilst being close to transport links and local amenities and attractions.

Marham House is operated by Anchor. Anchor has more than 60 years of experience as a not-for-profit provider of services to older people. Marham House continues to welcome new residents for residential and residential dementia care.

The dedicated care team gets to know each resident, working with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans so that their needs are always met. The Lifestyle Team are on hand to ensure that each resident enjoys each day as they wish to.

High quality dementia care is provided to residents living with the condition by colleagues who are fully trained to ensure the best approach.

The care team provides individual and compassionate care by getting to know each individual and building strong relationships with them and their loved ones.

Excellent contact before, during, and after a two and a half week respite stay. Carers were very kind and competent. Excellent manager, always available to talk.

Marham House is unlike any normal care home, it is like entering a very smart hotel. The ambience and facilities are amazing. We needed care for my mother who has dementia and the staff were so caring and were very quick to understand her needs and helped her to settle in. They worked with us to make
this transition so much easier than we ever imagined. I cannot recommend Marham House, the managers and staff highly enough.

My Gran moved into this Care Home last month as she had started to struggle doing general day-to-day activities at home. I'm not local enough to support my Gran; so wanted to find a suitable place for my Gran to live safely. Marham House supported us very quickly. We couldn't visit but were given access
to the brochure and a virtual tour which helped see the home and understand what they can offer. They were able to complete an assessment with me over the phone and once everything was in place, Gran was able to move within a couple of days! Since Gran has been there I have had lots of contact. It's lovely to see, and speak with Gran regularly and see how much she's enjoying her time there and ask about her time. I can't wait to visit her and taste some of the great food she tells me about! My review is based on the images, and videos I have seen, and the feedback my Gran tells me.

Outstanding facilities and staff. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The senior carer is extremely good at keeping my family versed in my condition during my stay.
