Thankyou for taking the time to complete a review and thank you for the positive comments. It is hard for people moving into a new home permanently. It's good to read and hear that you feel that he has settled into his home from home straight away. All of the staff enjoy making our residents welcome and comfortable when they move into the home. Confidence then grows and also families can feel settled at seeing how their family members are. Montagu prides itself on person-centered care to support everyone as an individual. The staff support in a person-centered way to ensure that all of the residents maintain their independence. Activities are an important part of life at the home and this is where confidence is gained and maintained. Julie, RNLD is a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse with over 18 years of experience providing patient care. She received her nursing qualification from Sheffield University and has worked in various healthcare settings since then.
Julie began her nursing career in a specialist hospital gaining valuable skills in caring for patients with a wide range of conditions and needs. Her attention to detail, empathy and critical thinking enabled her to provide quality care and develop strong relationships with patients and families.
Julie transitioned into senior management and thrived, she was proud to be part of the senior management team to create opportunities for staff development and team building, leading to outstanding performance, and promoting a culture where staff felt valued and empowered.
Since 2016, Julie has worked in elderly care, first as a home manager, then as a turnaround manager, and finally as a peripatetic manager to ensure the highest standard of care. She has worked for both large corporations and family-run businesses.
Julie is enthusiastic and passionate, building trusting relationships with each of her residents and working closely with their families to ensure they receive the best care possible.
When Julie isn’t working, she enjoys family time and is actively involved in rescuing St Bernards and offering them their forever home also fostering them until a suitable home is found.

Pauline loves seeing smiling faces and families enjoying time together and looks forward to making visitors feel at home. When away from work, Pauline enjoys going on road trips and weekends away with her family in the UK.
She also loves singing karaoke with her son and daughter and spending time with her two Labrador dogs.

Steve is Doncaster-born and bred.
Having been taught home cooking from an early age helping his mum make delicious baking and hearty dinners and having been involved in the catering industry from leaving school, Steve decided that cooking was for him. At sixteen he worked at an established French restaurant in Bawtry. There he ignited his passion for everything culinary.
Under his stage name Steve Garti, is an award-winning actor with regular appearances on various drama and comedy shows such as Black Mirror, Brassic and the acclaimed drama Help with Jodie Comer and Stephen Graham. He has also starred in Films, which include The Full Monty, Pond Life and Dark River.
Steve is delighted to be Head Chef at Montagu Hall Care home and, together with his dedicated team, he is very much looking forward to creating wonderful food and memories for our residents.
