My dad has been at the care home for a few months. All staff seem friendly and kind, and they offer lots of different activities to the residents. The care home is well looked after, clean and welcoming to visitors and the residents. My dad likes it there and the staff are quite good. Feedback is taken
on board but not necessarily acted upon. Its very expensive, but they all are! It's better than the other care home he tried and they do look after their residents.

My nan has been in respite on end off through the year of 2024 into 2025. We initially had to raise some concerns with management but these were acted on. Reception are always super friendly and helpful. The home itself is beautiful and in a lovely area.

The overall experience was outstanding. Dad came in for respite care and I was very anxious about leaving him but the care, food, socialising and service was absolutely brilliant. Dad thoroughly enjoyed being here. I have total confidence that I can go on holiday with peace of mind that Dad is well
cared for and safe. I cannot recommend Osbern Manor Care Home enough. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dad is in the home after he broke his hip, Client Relations Assistant is great, very efficient and friendly. Dad will become a resident permanently in the near future, all the staff are wonderful, very kind and caring. We cannot thank them enough for all the care given to our Dad.

Spent 3 weeks in respite care while primary carers were away. I have been in respite in other care home, but none compared to Osbern Manor. I was so well looked after that I am now considering permanent residency here.

Excellent care for my elderly mother. A spotless and clean care home. Plenty of good staff who go above and beyond and treat the residents as treasured guests.
Excellent and informative front of house receptionists, who are kind, caring and spend time talking to the residents in a gentle and happy
way. Food is excellent, the decor throughout is of a high standard.

Osbern Manor boasts a five-star facility, yet the quality of care provided by the staff is disappointing and fails to meet even basic expectations. One would expect that the staff are in this line of work because they genuinely care about nurturing residents and enhancing their quality of life in their
final years. However, it often seems that everything is viewed as an inconvenience to them, leading me to believe they may be in the wrong profession. Even down the general pettiness and unprofessionalism from even the most senior members of staff. It's really disappointing to experience. Once the facilities begin to age and lose their initial appeal, there will be little left to recommend it.

Staff have always been friednly and helpful. The home itself is of a very high standard and clean. It doesn't matter what you ask of any of the staff, they will resolve the matter before you leave. If on the odd occasion, any questions can't be answered, on your next visit someone will be able to help.

We cannot express how grateful we are to all the staff at Osbern Manor. We were looking for 2 weeks of respite for our loved one who had never experienced respite before, so the whole process was new to us all.
From stepping into Osbern Manor back in June to take a look we were blown away with how
lovely the whole atmosphere and decor felt. It was like walking into a 5-star hotel. Everyone greeted you and made you feel so welcome.
We cannot fault anything and our loved one is happy to return for future stays. All her friends who visited were equally impressed and enjoyed the delicious meal you were able to pre-book. We felt very supported in every step of the process. We highly recommend Osbern Manor, praising all the staff for making everyone feel safe and comfortable in beautiful homely surroundings.

We cannot rate our whole experience of Osbern Manor, highly enough. We needed a care home to provide a few weeks of respite care for our relative and after viewing Osbern Manor we were completely sold on arranging for our relative to stay here. It is so welcoming, friendly and not at all like a 'care
home'. You feel as though you are in a 5* hotel. The care provided for our relative was amazing. She wanted for nothing and will miss her late-night hot chocolate. The rooms are spacious, modern and spotless. She loved the food and the opportunity for her relatives to join her for lunch was perfect. Anyone looking for a care home would be hard-pressed to find somewhere better and we would be more than happy to move in, in the future.

Osbern Manor is so light and airy and beautiful - like a 5-star hotel. My friend is happy there and well cared for. As a visitor I found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and cheerful. My friend had been struggling at home and it was so nice to see her relaxed and at home and to be able to enjoy a

From the moment we contacted Osbern Manor regarding care for my elderly parents the team there have been nothing other than exceptional. From the care, attention and support for my parents and our family and even the essential, bureaucratic aspects, the response from everybody has made, what has been
a very difficult time, much less onerous for all.
The home itself is beautifully appointed and very welcoming and the quality and level of services are more akin to a 5-star hotel.
Before my parents were actually admitted, the team did a full assessment of their conditions to establish exactly how they should be treated and accommodated. Even going so far as setting them up in a large double room, with two beds pushed together, as my father (who has vascular dementia and relies on my mum's emotional support), was very stressed by the fact that, under normal circumstances, each resident is assigned their own room and would sleep alone at night (this really was a wonderful gesture).

After a traumatic stay in hospital Dad needed somewhere to build up his strength and confidence. Osbern Manor is perfect, very caring staff who has helped Dad back to his normal self. Cannot thank the staff enough. The actual home is beautiful also.

As the General Manager, I lead the team that provides holistic care to our residents. We involve them and their families in everything we do because the most crucial part of my job is giving meaning to people's lives. Working in partnership with residents, families, and professionals has always been one of my core values. I strive to continually develop to ensure that the residents I care for experience the very best care and enrichment. I am delighted to have joined the Oakland Care family as Senior Client Relations Manager for Osbern Manor, Hyllden Heights, Birchwood Heights and Maplewood Court. My experience in the role goes back 11 years now, including the commissioning of a new care home.


Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than assisting families to explore full-time care options whilst sharing insights during what is often a stressful time for them. Outside of work, my biggest passion has always been travel, which hopefully will become easier again in the fullness of time!

As one of the newest members of the Clients Relations Team for Kent, I’m very proud to be a part of the Oakland Care family.


I originally trained as a photographer and photographic printer back in the days of film! From shooting family portraits in the studio one day to being in the darkroom the next, it was a varied job.


I then worked in a Grammer School Art and D.T. departments, supporting the teachers and students. Ensuring learning had taken place. My main role was setting up and running the photography unit.
Before joining the Oakland Care family, I spent nine years with a boutique Cinema, covering many aspects of the business and heading up customer relations.


Working for Oakland Care has been by far the most personally rewarding; helping residents and their families navigate what can be a difficult and stressful pathway to happiness gives me immense pleasure.
Our residents are at the heart of everything we do here at Oakland Care, and I feel truly humbled to be a part of it.


Outside work, I enjoy getting out in the fresh air, either on my bike or walking in the countryside.
