Park Manor Care Home aims to provide the residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well being and comfort are of prime importance.

Nurses, Carers, and ancillary workers will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all residents within a warm and caring atmosphere and in so doing will be sensitive to the resident’s ever-changing needs. Such needs may be medical/therapeutic (for physical and mental welfare), cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social. Residents are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised digitalised Care Plans in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and is greatly valued.

This will be achieved through a well thought out wellbeing programme designed on the three principles of mind, body and soul. Park Manor provides a range of wellbeing activities to suit the residents' age group. Social interaction with fellow residents, friends and family and the wider community are embraced.

My Father was the 1st 'Original Resident' of Park Manor & was very happy & fulfilled for the short time he had at Park Manor. It was his permanent home, and he loved it & the staff. From his very first visit, he felt at home, Dad described entering the library & 'the library hugging him, and he knew
that was where he wanted to be'
The whole team have been amazing, supporting & caring for Dad, they have met every need, gone over & above to ensure his comfort, safety & happiness. The are professional yet caring & empathic, their communication with me around Dad was exemplary, their multi disciplinary working with external medical teams was fab - they really do care
An elegant setting, spacious rooms, homely communal areas, the welcome, as a visiting relative was always warm - nothing was too much for anyone in the team. The atmosphere was a happy one, stimulating & engaging activities - one member of staff even writing Dad's memoirs as a legacy
I highly recommend Park Manor

My husband arrived at Park Manor in February 2025. End of life care provided, staff are all amazing, friendly, helpful and caring. Nothing too much trouble. Room is lovely and spacious with personal wet room, enabling sitting down shower. Menus and food are all excellent. My husband is treated with
dignity and his individual needs are very well catered for. Couldn't ask for a better placement, like a home from home. Made a very difficult decision feel it was for the best - Park Manor are so supportive to my husband, son and I - Thank You.

Current Review Score: 8.3 (8.256)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.3 (8.256) out of 10 for Park Manor Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 2 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.3 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.909 for Park Manor Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (20 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 22 Ratings = 4.909

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.347 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Park Manor Care Home is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 = 3.125

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 45 registered maximum number of service users is 9. 2 Positive Reviews ÷ 9 = 0.222

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
