With 70 bedrooms, Parklands Lodge provides a community setting where members can benefit from high-quality care, tailored to their individual needs. Parklands Lodge has been intelligently designed to improve residents’ quality of life, through mobility and experience.

The Lodge is equipped with high-quality furnishings & fittings throughout, as well as scenic views across Southport. Each bedroom comes with an adjustable profile bed, call bell system, flat-screen TV, telephone, wireless internet access and ensuite wet room. There's a range of facilities available including comfortable lounges, dining rooms, health & beauty salon and a kitchenette, so residents and visitors can make tea and coffee at any time!

Parklands Lodge understands the importance of a well-balanced and nutritious diet and therefore, a carefully selected team produces home-cooked meals onsite daily. The menu is crafted with care, incorporating resident’s preferences and cultural or dietary requirements. Guests can also join residents at mealtimes if there have been prior arrangements.

With their own in-house Lifestyle and Wellbeing team, there is never a dull moment. The team is dedicated to making their residents’ home a happy, vibrant and fun place to live! With many in-house activities take place in the communal lounges, there is always something fun going on around every corner.

This is an excellent nursing/care home. The quality of the accommodation is very high as is the overall support from the staff. The staff are all extremely pleasant and always helpful, and provide a caring and friendly environment. Parklands Lodge feels more like a high standard hotel and if I required
this support for myself it would be top of my list. It is a brand new facility in a lovely position and provides everything I could want for my mother.

What a fabulous home this is! My father has recently moved here from another local care home. He is encouraged to be active, involved and engaged by the Manager and his fantastic team. Visits are a joy as Dad is happy and excited to tell me his news about how he has spent his day. The family kitchen
facility means that we can make and drink tea together just as we did when he was at home. I cant praise this service enough- After working for many years in the care home industry I am aware that we all strive to give residents purpose but in my experience, few succeed. Trust me when I say Parklands lodge does what it says on the tin - I cant praise this service enough !

Rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Lounge beautifully furnished, roomy, light. Food exceptional, freshly made, good choice of menu.Visitors can pre-order meals to have with residents. Visitors kitchen a bonus.
Sunny aspect garden, relaxing. Manager fabulous. Nothing too much trouble, always
time for chat- from a nursing profession he understands all aspects of nursing care. Staff friendly, caring, exceptional. Daily care received is excellent. Treated promptly, kindly and with respect at all times promoting independence.
All staff work really hard, very dedicated and attentive. There is no place like home but this is second best! Always feel dad is well cared for and in a safe environment. This really gives us great comfort knowing he is receiving the very best care. We have looked at many nursing homes in the past for a relative and can honestly say that this seems to be the best in Southport.
I would not hesitate to recommend Parkland Lodge to anyone. Keep up the good work! You are very much appreciated.

From the very first moment I walked through the doors of Parklands Lodge I received a fabulous warm welcome not only from the staff team but residents alike. It became evident that everyone has a true passion, takes pride in all aspects of the care home, and truly cares about the residents and their families/loved ones.


It is imperative that all residents, their families and visitors receive a warm and friendly welcome when arriving at Parklands Lodge, this is something that I feel makes a true difference.

As a home, Parklands Lodge provides a range of services from residential care to specialised nursing and dementia care, which ensures that we can adapt to residents' ever-changing needs/requirements. We are passionate. and committed to working with you or your loved one to promote and encourage independence. We also aim to support you to live your life in colour giving you and your family peace of mind that we are here to provide support around the clock whenever you need it.

Here at Parklands Lodge, we understand how difficult it can be to move into a care home environment. The team are here to support you with the transition into your new home making it as seamless as possible. We are available to provide support, guidance and information not only to our residents here at Parklands but to their loved ones/family members throughout the journey. We are here to promote a positive, safe, and well-maintained environment where we view all of our residents and their families as an extension of our own.

I have worked for Athena Healthcare Group for just over 5 years.


I started as a Concierge at Abbey Wood Lodge but recently joined the team of Lodge Sales Advisors based at our UK head office. I help families find the perfect forever home for their loved ones, liaising with Social Care and many local hospitals.


I enjoy my role very much, especially seeing new residents and their family becoming part of the Lodges extended family. Being a family that has a loved one with Dementia, I feel this helps me understand the pressure put on families when they suddenly have to consider the alternative to keeping their loved one at home.
