My name is Denise Cleaver and I am the Head of Care for the nursing floor at Richmond Villages Witney. On the care floor we care and support people who have a nursing need or are people living with Dementia. I am a qualified nurse R.N.M.H and have a level 5 registered managers award as well as a Diploma in management through the institute of Management.
I have worked in the care field for thirty years starting as a care assistant and then completing my nursing course since this time I have worked in Management for charities, NHS or in private nursing homes.
Person centred care is at the heart of what I believe, and I enjoy working with teams and colleagues and families to ensure that each person we support is at the heart of what we do, I am proud that the nursing homes I have supported in the past who had improved in quality to obtain good ratings with CQC, and gained positive reputations in their communities.
I am looking forward to working with Richmond Villages whose philosophies line up with my own.

I have worked in hospitality for almost 25 years, including at a local golf complex as the Wedding and Function Manager. I started at Richmond Witney 8 years ago as the Hostess Supervisor on the Care floor. I spent three years up there improving all the catering side of the business. I was then promoted to Restaurant Manager and then offered my current position as Head of Hospitality, which I have been in for over 2 years, and thoroughly enjoy.
