Karen's journey began as a care assistant, and she has since supported staff with specialist dementia training before returning to the care home environment as a reminiscence coordinator. Her commitment to fostering meaningful connections and providing person-centred care eventually led her to her current role as a home manager.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her close-knit family, which includes her four children, five grandchildren, and their beloved dachshund, Penny. Karen and her family love to travel, often camping together in Holland.
