In this superbly situated 77 room, large and spacious care centre, with wonderful, open access, very large gardens, where every need is the staff's pleasure.

Offering residential type care (personal care) and nursing care for people of 60+ including on their own floor, services dedicated to those living with dementia or related condition, will have a large en-suite facility with separate dining and living areas.

All en-suite accommodation on the ground floor rooms open directly onto the gardens, and with delicious and plentiful home cooked meals and a partnership with the Oomph charity assisting in the design of meaningful activities will be delighted with both the facilities and the care staff provide.

Registered manager Denise has built a very strong local reputation and was the manager of the 2015 end of life care home of the year winner.

When my mum first came to the home there were some ongoing issues, I have always tried to work with the home to resolve any relating to mum's care and I can say that the home have always listened and responded very positively to any concerns. The staff are wonderful, they are caring, compassionate and
very professional. They have supported and continue to support myself and my family through what has been and continues to be a very difficult time for us. I don't know how we would have coped without them. They deserve the highest praise and recognition for the wonderful work they do 24/7.

My dad recently moved to Sand Banks in Redcar.
The level of care I have seen in the past weeks has been outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff are lovely and treat him with dignity and respect.
He is so much improved and happy. He likes the food and place is spotlessly clean.

My brother has improved greatly since he came to Sand Banks. The staff have been very good with him. He is eating well and which he would not do before he came here and I would recommend Sand Banks to everybody.

Staff are extremely kind and caring. My husband has been in since Sandbanks opened. He started in respite care and is now a permanent resident. All of his needs are being met by staff. He has deteriorated mentally and physically over time and staff have helped both himself and me to cope with these
changes.

I started training at Teesside university and have now been qualified for 23years. I have worked in care for most of my career and for the last 7 years, I have worked within Care Home Settings. I have worked in Hospitals, GP surgeries and Care Homes.
I enjoy nursing as no 2 days are the same and I am able to build up holistic relationships with residents and families within our care home.

I have completed NVQ 2&3 and a degree level 5 In health and social care.


I have a passion for care and am dedicated to upholding our reputation as an inclusive care provider that delivered Kind, person-centred care.
I believe that being warm-hearted with a friendly sincere approach leaves a positive impact on others. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.
