A severe lack of communication between staff, management and service users/family. No organised activities available for service users. No group activities or encouragement to mix and integrate with other service users. Very small and limited communal space means certain areas are occupied and become
no-go areas for other service users. Maintenance issues are extremely slow to be resolved and to a very poor standard. Staff are cooking without adequate food handling or hygiene training. Support for service users is sporadic they are very often let down, misled or left on their own. No follow up from the manager when concerns and issues are raised. The same issues arise time and time again, they are not dealt with properly first time around. Information regarding the care and treatment are concealed from the family. Instead, they choose to cherry pick what info they pass on to relatives. normal practice to hear several different versions of the same event making it impossible to know the correct version.
