The home provides care for people with residential needs living with dementia. This is a lovely care home in beautiful grounds - bright and modern with all the latest facilities. The care provided is very good. The care workers are mostly very kind and attentive - but at times they are under-resourced - especially on the Nursing care floor. They have a number of very demanding
residents to deal with and need 'eyes in the back of their heads' to manage everyone in the lounge and keep them safe and prevent falls. Additional resources would help ensure they prevent accidents and injuries to residents who are not mobile but try to get up.

My grandfather has been a resident here for over a year now. At the beginning, everything seemed perfectly fine.
I believe there could be more sociable events for residents, especially those who are confined to a bed but still enjoy to be sociable. They are not integrated with other residents which
therefore make them even more isolated which I think needs reviewing as soon as possible. More activities including outdoor facilities which would be very gratefully received from residents and families.

I would like to thank ALL the staff at Wood Green for all the support, care and kindness they all give me and my family through a very tough time. Also for all the care they give my darling husband, for the kindness and help they all shared with him. Wood Green care home 'has it all'.

Mum has stayed here before and like me, we really prefer this care home over some others. Facilities are excellent. The staff are very caring and all the residents are well looked after. There are three floors for various levels of care and this is excellent and safe.
I would have no problem with mum
staying again and it is a lovely environment and very homely.

From the short time my sister has been in the care home, it is the best home I have ever visited. My sister is so content it is a pleasure to visit my sister. This home is so different from the last home she came from. All the staff that we have met is a pleasure to talk to and are kind to my sister.
She is very content.

All 'entrance' and 'exits' very secure. Reception very informative, from what I could see everything was very clean and tidy, most patients seemed very relaxed and very well cared for. Overall everything was of a very high standard. Well done.
