Woodland Manor is situated in the charming village of Chalfont St Peter, set in beautifully landscaped gardens where residents can enjoy plenty of outdoor space. Providing expert residential, dementia, nursing and respite care 24 hours a day, the home supports individuals with wide-ranging needs.

There is an excellent choice of activities to keep mind and body active courtesy of a dedicated activities and wellbeing team, and a minibus ensures residents can enjoy regular trips and outings.

Every resident has a spacious private bedroom with ensuite wet room, and there are plenty of communal areas for residents and their relatives to enjoy, including a variety of lounges and dining rooms, a private dining room for special occasions, a hair salon and nail bar, an activities room, a café and even a cinema.

The carers and nursing staff treat my parent with dignity and kindness. They are meticulous about hygiene and cleanliness. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly towards both residents and visitors. As with all care homes, the retention of staff has proved difficult but this has not affected the overall
level of care.

I had a very nasty fall, with two black eyes and an ankle I couldn't walk with (very swollen). I live on my own at 88 so I was most grateful to stay at your lovely care home. Everyone was very kind and helpful and made me very welcome. I have enjoyed every day with some really lovely people. I shall
miss them all and definitely will recommend Woodland Manor Care Home to all my friends. Thank you all so much.

Our experience of Woodland Manor is very positive. My father tells me he is very happy there and that is the best accolade. The food is excellent and the quality of care is high. I feel included in his care plan which we feel meets his needs very well. The staff are caring and friendly and the communications
about his health and wellbeing are good. My concerns are all listened to and addressed.

I'm so happy that my friend has settled in Woodland Manor. She really enjoys the activities and I've been able to join her in the activities. I'm not at the age of needing a care home, but when I do this would be my first choice. I think the staff are very friendly and caring, giving lots of attention
to everyone who lives there and also their visitors.

Dad has been made comfortable and welcomed since he's been in a discharge to assess bed in March. Some items of clothing have been lost and items come back from the laundry room still wet/damp! Communication has been poor and especially with the care manager (who has now left). The supervisor has been
amazing!

We are so grateful to the staff at Woodland Manor who make every effort to ensure that my parents are well cared for. Their accommodation is comfortable with access to the lovely gardens. There are organised activities every day as well as regular minibus trips to places of interest nearby. We particularly
like the bright and welcoming coffee shop where residents can relax or meet with visitors.

The care given to my brother during his short stay at Woodland Manor was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff showed great patience and understanding. The room was spacious, clean and had everything that was required. The food he loved, a great variety. My brother died with dignity and
respect and my family received the same at this most difficult time by all the wonderful staff.

During the time my husband was in Woodland Manor he was extremely ill with both a chest and urine infection. Without the care and dedication given by the staff, he wouldn't have survived - it was a touch and go situation we were told. The staff were so supportive and compassionate towards our family.

My mum was at Woodland Manor for two and a half years and received exceptional care throughout this time, despite having challenging behaviour at times. She had vascular dementia mixed with Alzheimer's. Her final days at Woodland Manor were the best I could ever have hoped for and thanks to the carers
wonderful care that she received she passed peacefully.

On coming straight from hospital I cannot say anything about Woodland Manor Care Home other than I have had nothing but the support of excellent care and support of the management and the health care assistants who work so hard. You would not get any better for they work so hard for you.

My introductory visit to ascertain the suitability of the care home for my relative was welcoming and provided all necessary information regarding facilities and finances. My sister has settled in well since moving here one month ago and appears to be happy. She has been taken on two outings recently
to visit places of interest. Covid-19 prevention procedures were very thorough for all visitors and continue to be observed. A recent family fun day was well organised and enjoyed by all.

My husband had terminal cancer. After a period in hospital, he was considered 'too well' for a hospice; we did not know how long he would have to live. I reluctantly sought a care home when it became clear that his needs were too complex at this stage for him to be in our home. As soon as I walked into
Woodland Manor I knew that this would be a place where I would have peace of mind about his care. The staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was like a comfortable hotel. My husband was given a ground-floor room with French windows leading onto a lovely garden. Most important to me was the quality of care that he received. Extra restrictions on visiting were in place because of Covid, but there was sensitivity to our 'end of life' situation. The staff were clearly well trained in handling the sometimes complex care needs of my husband. They seemed genuinely to enjoy their jobs, and to think about how they could make a difference to the quality of life of residents.

Our Dad moved to the nursing care level at Woodland Manor in July 2021.
The staff are tremendously kind and caring, they keep us informed and welcome us when we visit.
Dad is safe, comfortable, happy, settled, well-nourished and engaging in activities and outings. His personal interests were noted
with films and WW2, a visit to a local WW2 attraction was a memorable day for him.
The home is beautiful, clean, bright and spacious with a lovely energy, attractive gardens and a quiet location.
From our initial visit to consider the home, the efficiency of administration with Dad's transfer from hospital and the care received, my family are so pleased we chose here.

My dealings with the home have been nothing but positive. I flew in from New Zealand to assist my Aunt to go into care - the home staff were extremely helpful and supportive during what was a very challenging and emotional time. Since my Aunt has been in the home she has blossomed. I can see that via
the weekly FaceTime calls the home arrange. My Sunt is stimulated by the activities the home offers and is encouraged to maintain her own individual interests. I know that my Aunt is extremely well looked after and I am most grateful to all of the home staff who care so ably and kindly of my aunt.

I am a highly motivated and compassionate individual with over 9 years of experience in the healthcare sector. I have dedicated my career to enhancing the quality of life of residents in my care and ensuring the smooth operation of the care facilities I manage. My expertise lies in managing day-to-day operations, leading a diverse team and implementing best practices to provide exceptional care and support for our residents and their loved ones.


In 2014 I began working as a healthcare assistant whilst waiting for my nursing registration, and I advanced through various roles within the company, demonstrating consistent dedication and acquiring new skills at each level.


By utilising my own experience, qualifications and personal dedication, I aim to ensure that every resident living at Woodland Manor receives the highest standard of care and enjoys living in a safe, supportive and enriching environment.
