My mom and dad have been attending the centre for the last 14 months, they have always been happy and treated with the utmost care and respect. The staff are brilliant at interacting with them and always keep me and my sister informed of any issues or anything out of the ordinary. They attend three
times per week and always enjoy the activities and the friendliness of all the other service users. The activities vary per day but this keeps it interesting, especially for Dad who prefers activity to natter. Both say how much they enjoy it.

My close friend goes to the day centre and is very happy she says that the staff are lovely they are very friendly and sort out any problems she has. The food is very nice and if you don't like the daily choice they will sort something different for you. She says that she would be very lonely if she
didn't go to the centre as she has loads of new friends, she also thinks its good value for money. I myself are looking forward to attending the day centre myself.

My husband visited the day centre on 11th June after a visit at home to assess mutual suitability by the centre managers.
We were told that various activities would be available.
A "care plan" was given to me to fill out to ensure all tablets he has were given.
The bus arrived on time but the person
collecting him was unfriendly.
Many of the visitors made it obvious they didn't want to be there likening it to prison. The activity in the morning was exercise consisting of a woman with music getting everyone to wave their arms around.
Lunch was a choice of sausage and chips or cheese-potato bake. My husband had the bake with tinned veg, he said it was awful.
He has Parkinson's, he was not given his tablets.
There were no more activities I had been told there would be a quiz in the afternoon.
The cost of the day was £30 a day. As my husband did not enjoy one minute he will not be returning.
