Our father was the primary carer for mum who has dementia. Since his death last year, we had been looking for the right place for mum to spend a couple of days a week but we couldn't find anything that suited our very fit, agile and personality-filled 73-year-old mum. We came across the Mabel Rose Day
Centre (which is part of Andrew Frederick Adult Support), located on a farm in Little Plumstead, just on the outskirts of Norwich.

What a revelation! Rather than sitting in a chair all day, the opposite is true. There are talks, walks, museum visits, stately home visits, trips to the beach, gardening, helping with the animals etc. The staff are just fabulous; bags of humour, lots of character and an evident exceedingly high-level commitment to quality care, interaction, laughter and everything else in between. And the food cooked by the two chefs is amazing too!

Mabel Rose has made a real difference to our lives and we are enormously grateful. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Granddad attended 1 day then went up to 4 days in December. He has got Dementia. This day centre completely changed his life.
They are active, provide lots of different indoor and outdoor activities, like woodwork, animal care and gardening. He also loved the indoor curling and bowling. He is given
home cooked healthy meals, so we didn't have to worry about him eating on those days.
Great, friendly staff and caring support for my family.
Excellent Facility.
