I enjoy going to ILC College. I can do different things and make new friends. I like the support workers and I can talk to them if anybody upsets me and the managers are caring as well.

My client has been attending ILC College since last year and he seems to be quite happy. He enjoys the activities going on there, especially the dancing classes and without forgetting the food. When he comes back home he keeps asking when he is going back. The staff are very friendly and he enjoys spending
time with them. He is well looked after. The driver that picks him up is very gentle and he enjoys his company.

The Independent Learning Centre provides an excellent service for adults with learning difficulties. The environment is structured to provide stimulating activities in a relaxed, informal environment. My son feels safe and accepted in this setting. Staff are respectful of clients additional needs and
foster independence within a secure, supervised environment. We are very satisfied that our son's social and emotional needs are being met.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.8 (8.773) out of 10 for ILC College is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.5 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Adult Day Care Centre is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.273 for ILC College is calculated as follows: ( (12 Excellents x 5) + (32 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 44 Ratings = 4.273

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    5 points are available for the first 5 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months: 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.5 Points for each of the next 4 Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.5, 5th = 0.5)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for ILC College is based on 4 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 4.5

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Adult Day Care Centre does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
