Staff offer professional day care support so family carers can have a respite from caring and older people living with dementia can get out and socialise and take part in stimulating activities.

The centre is located in Warwick Road and offers one-off as well as regular day care. It is warm and welcoming and staff are helpful and friendly.

Suma

Suma Mathew

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2016

Qualified with a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, a BSc honours degree in Clinical Leadership at Northampton University, and a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, Suma has 25 years of working experience. She is also an in-house trainer with “Train the Trainer” qualifications for Care Moving & Handling, and a nurse trainer with mentorship qualifications from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.


Suma started her career at Cherry Blossom Care Home as Deputy Manager, becoming Acting Manager before being promoted to Registered Manager in January 2021. A manager who thrives on helping build new friendships for our residents and encouraging local community involvement, Suma’s focus is on living a life of possibilities.


She believes that working in partnership is the foundation of good leadership and, to this end, she discusses all new ideas with her team. Ever welcoming, her door is always open for residents, their relatives and friends, and staff.


Nadiyah

Nadiyah Aranyi

Job Title: Clinical Service Manager

Nadiyah is a dedicated Registered Nurse, with a degree from Birmingham City University (2015). She began her nursing career in 2016 at Cherry Blossom Care Home, where she’s grown professionally within Allegra Care’s resident-centred and compassionate environment. Nadiyah’s journey culminated in her promotion to Clinical Services Manager in late 2022—a role that allows her to foster collaboration between staff and management, ensuring her team feels supported, motivated, and skilled.


In her role, Nadiyah enjoys balancing clinical practice with leadership, guiding her team toward best practices and promoting high-quality care for residents. She is committed to facilitating her team’s development, creating opportunities for them to advance their skills and careers within Allegra Care’s innovative household model.


Outside work, Nadiyah is a people person who treasures time with family, friends, and good food. Her personal values of connection and positivity shape her approach to creating a welcoming, homelike atmosphere for both residents and staff. A core believer in positivity, she views challenges in healthcare as chances to learn, grow, and lead by example.

Natalie Crampton

Natalie brings over 10 years of dedicated experience in care to support our homes across the Central Region. Her role is a blend of community engagement and direct support, helping residents and their families navigate the options for care. Whether assisting with resources for potential residents or offering guidance to those exploring Care Homes or Day Centres, Natalie is a trusted source of information and compassion.


Sam

Sam John

Job Title: Home Administrator

Joined: 2020

A post-graduate with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Marketing & Finance and ten years’ experience in the finance sector for leading multinational banks, Sam brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills to his role at Cherry Blossom Care Home. An expert in client relationship management, with an ability to grasp clients’ requirements and deliver appropriate solutions, he also holds a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering.


He became a Bank Administration assistant within a couple of months of joining Cherry Blossom Care Home in 2020. He then moved on as the Home Administrator at another home in the group for a couple of months, before returning to perform this function at Cherry Blossom.


As part of the senior management team, Sam manages the home’s finance, payroll and administration matters. He welcomes residents and their families with a smile, and he is liked by customers for his gentle nature.


Nicola

Nicola Gear

Job Title: Home Services Assistant

Joined: 2015

Home Service Assistant Nicola has been part of the Cherry Blossom Care Home team from day one. Before joining Cherry Blossom as a Care Assistant, she worked for ten years as a manager in jewellery retail. Her transition to a service assistant role was driven by excellent customer care skills and her passion for making a difference in people’s lives.


Nicola welcomes all visitors with a warm smile and assists them according to their needs. One of her key roles is helping prospective residents, family and friends with tours of the home - a responsibility she maintained during the pandemic, with all the rigorous safeguarding restrictions that entailed. A daily visitor to our residents to deliver their newspapers, Nicola knows the value of simple pleasures like a chat and a laugh.


She is also a key member of the management team, helping in the daily running of the home in aspects such as organising supplies, recruitment of staff, interviews and meetings with management. Well-liked by staff, residents, their relatives and friends, glowing feedback consistently highlights Nicola’s sunny disposition and calm efficiency.
