DC Care is delighted to announce the recent sale of Arden Lea Nursing Home in central Nottingham.

The established care home, which is registered for 27 service users has been purchased for an undisclosed price by Harpreet Virk and Ranjit Singh trading as Virk Family Limited which represents their first care home acquisition.

Commenting on their acquisition Harpreet Virk commented ‘as the new owners, going forward Virk Family Limited is committed to working with residents and staff to further improve standards at Arden Lea. We will work together to strengthen the quality and level of care provided to residents so that Arden Lea becomes the care home of choice in Nottingham. We will strive to make the stay of all our residents as homely and caring as possible’.

Funding for the purchase was arranged by Mark Hickman of Chandler & Co.

DC Care was instructed to market Arden Lea on behalf of Mr Nimal Atheray who is now retiring from the care industry after 30 years. Nimal commented "Homes such as Arden Lea are examples of a " home to home" environment, small person centered and professional”.

The sale was managed by Head Office based Lisa Rushworth.
