Mr Andrew Blomfield, our vendor client, owned Thornton House for 24 years and during that time developed the home to bring the registration to the current level of 22. The home is set in large grounds, with scope for further development.

Mr Blomfield said; “DC Care gave me realistic advice on what they thought we could achieve for the home when we first met. We wish Mr Blomfield a very happy retirement.

The new owners are GN Care Homes, who DC Care will be working with to further develop their care portfolio.
