DC Care recently completed the sale of The Victoria Care Home in Burnley, on behalf of S Williams and L Thomas, Begbies Traynor LLP - Joint Administrators of Victoria Care Home Ltd.

Originally a hospital built and funded by local contributions, the building was converted to a care home during the 1990’s and was registered for 41 service users. Unfortunately, the limited company was subsequently placed in administration, with the home facing closure.

Following an extensive marketing campaign, offers were received from a number of parties, all of whom are existing operators. The home was sold to a regional operator who will be looking to undertake a programme of refurbishment and modernisation.
