Specialist healthcare agents DC Care have successfully brokered the sale of New Directions, a group of 5 care homes plus supported living provision located in St Leonards, Hastings and Robertsbridge. New Directions was established in 1998 and developed into a highly respected provider of care for those suffering from Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare, complex genetic disorder, which is present from birth and continues throughout life.

Founder owner Gayle Benet had mixed emotions when the sale completed having seen the group grow from its first home Bishops Croft, to its current registration of 34 with a further 2 residents housed in supported living accommodation.

The group was acquired by Craegmoor, part of the Priory Group of Companies for an undisclosed price.
