Two residential care homes located in Torquay have been sold to a local operator, Beechcroft Care Homes. The homes, Choice and Southbourne both situated in the Babbacombe area, provide care within the categories of old age and dementia and are registered for 24 and 21 respectively.

The selling agents DC Care, instructed on behalf of the Joint Administrator Begbies-Traynor, were pleased to find a suitable purchaser who has already commenced a programme of refurbishment, that will see the homes dramatically upgraded and modernised.
