I have only been here 3 months. I have found nearly everything very satisfactory. Sometimes food is almost cold. Just lately, no choice between 1st and 2nd courses.

We moved into our "assisted/independent living" flat at the end of February and are delighted to be here. Having moved here for various reasons (including my husband's Alzheimers), it is a relief not to be responsible for the maintenance of a house and garden but we do have our own little outside space
and are able to share and enjoy the beautiful communal gardens. We have the assurance of extra help on hand and one of the pleasant caring staff pops up every day to ensure we are OK. We use the facilities of the house including the hair salon and bar and join in activities. All the resident we meet are complimentary about all the staff and most of the meals.

1. I live in a flat, independently with optional care services and amenities.
2. I have been here nearly 11 years and I hope to be 96 in July, who would of thought it.
3. Most residents experience only one care home, so exceptions vary. I have been content and well looked after. It helps to be liked!
4.
Managers and staff come and go. Given the mix of male, female, foreign and UK staff, with low wages and long hours, the general standard is good. With a higher staff/resident ratio to meet frequent emergencies, it could be better.

Ramona Stanciu

Job Title: General Manager

Hi, my name is Ramona, and I am General Manager here.

I have worked in both private health care and the NHS since 2014, starting as a nurse. I have many years of experience in different roles managing care services for the residential and nursing sectors.

I joined Barchester in 2016 as a Deputy Manager and the move has been a great transition, allowing me to fulfil my desire to be able to make a positive difference in people’s lives. This is a core value at Barchester; it's a joy to be part of.

In January 2021, I was promoted to General Manager, alongside my team, I am delivering excellent care to some very special people, involving loved ones along the way. In April 2022, I took over the General Manager position at Chorleywood Beaumont and am delivering excellent care alongside my team.

Chorleywood Beaumont is a great community filled with loving care, happiness and laughter. I am very proud to be part of such a dedicated team that continues to strive to deliver a first-class service in a stunning environment. I look forward to welcoming you to Chorleywood Beaumont.
