Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking for flexible night shifts in a high-quality care environment? Sandstone Care Group is seeking dedicated professionals to join our bank team at The Oaks Care Home. With night shifts available, we offer flexibility to fit your schedule while ensuring you make a meaningful impact on our residents' lives. We provide full paid training, a structured induction, and ongoing support to help you excel in your role.

The Oaks Care Home, a luxurious 73-bed residence in Newtown, Powys, opened in January 2020 and features state-of-the-art facilities, including a bistro, hair and nail salon, spacious lounges, and landscaped gardens. Our focus is on delivering exceptional care with the support of advanced care planning and nurse-call technology to enhance resident wellbeing.

As a Bank Night Care Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality personal care, ensuring residents’ comfort and dignity overnight
  • Provide reassurance, emotional support, and companionship during nighttime hours
  • Monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond promptly to their needs
  • Maintain a calm and professional environment while supporting residents through the night
  • Work collaboratively with the night team to ensure seamless care and assistance

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.

About You:

  • Previous experience in health and social care is desirable
  • A compassionate and proactive approach to supporting residents
  • Ability to adapt to individual care needs and promote independence
  • Flexibility to work bank night shifts as required.
