Healthcare Assistant

We are now recruiting Healthcare Assistants with a minimum of 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE in our Birdscroft Nursing Home, based in Ashtead, Surrey. However we are willing to train if you do not have the experience.

From £11.44 per hour depending on experience

Hours: FT/PT/Nights

Duties

• To assist our residents in their personal care including toileting, bathing, dressing and undressing, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals.
• To serve meals & beverages to residents, assist in feeding
• Assist residents with restricted mobility to move to dining areas other communal areas for social activities and to the privacy of their bedrooms at their request.

About you

• Ideally we would like someone with experience of at least a year in care but willing to train.
• Be passionate about the elderly and finding new and exciting ideas for the residents to participate in.
• To have good speaking and written English.
• Bubbly and vibrant.
• To be organised and work well in a team.
