In conjunction with other staff, help create a supportive and homely atmosphere where our residents can achieve maximum independence. Where the promotion of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, fulfilment and rights being the six broad values are given the highest priority.
We are looking for individuals with an interest in supporting the ageing process & are caring and sensitive to the needs of others.
You will be a flexible, resilient individual who will work toward providing a real Home experience for our residents where they can enjoy a balanced happy environment offering both a restful safe haven and a familial community experience.
You will be asked to attend to the physical & social needs of our residents working on a rota basis within the guidelines provided by the Home. As a team member you will also be expected to contribute to all areas of Home life, supporting our domestic team as required.
You will have an understanding of the importance of your role within the Home and communicate effectively and respectfully to all individuals.
We will provide full induction training, uniforms as required, continuous support & guidance and further specialist trainings for those interested in career progression or with an interest in a particular area of ageing.
