Kitchen Assistant

24 hours per week.

Are you passionate about providing high-quality meals and exceptional service to our residents? Elizabeth Court in Caterham is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals in a warm and caring environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation under the guidance of our Head Chef and catering team.
• Ensure food is presented attractively and served promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, following all health and safety regulations.
• Help with stock management and the organization of food supplies.
• Support the team with general kitchen duties as required.
• Work collaboratively with care home staff to meet the dietary needs of residents.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
• Compassionate and caring nature, with a focus on the well-being of our residents.
