Responsibilities
- Oversee the housekeeping department and team, ensuring all areas
of the home are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to meet
health and safety standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support the housekeeping team to deliver
exceptional service.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain and improve
cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Build positive relationships with residents and staff,
contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate
team members.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably
in a healthcare or residential setting.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for creating a clean and comfortable living
environment for residents.
