Green Gables Nursing Home, now under new ownership, is seeking a dedicated and dependable Cleaner/Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents. This is a vital role within our team, ensuring that our home is a welcoming and hygienic space where residents can feel comfortable and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties across the nursing home, including residents' rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchens.
• Ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Maintain and manage cleaning supplies, ensuring they are stocked and stored properly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the management team.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred but not essential.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• A proactive, hardworking attitude and ability to work independently.
• Empathy and understanding for the needs of our residents.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
