Social Care Worker

Abbey Court is a 36 bed, privately owned and run residential care community in the East End of Glasgow, G34, we first opened in May 2018.

We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals, who understand the needs and wishes of elderly residents and can help them make choices to enhance their lives to ensure they have positive outcomes.

Due to recently opening a new extension, we are looking for staff to join our close-knit care team.  You must be SVQ trained in Health & Social Care Level 2 or in the process of obtaining one. Experienced Carers need only apply.

Available shifts are: 48hrs per week (4 x 12hr shifts per week) there is 1 post available

42hrs per week (3x12hr shifts one week and 4x12hr shifts the second week.  All shifts are 8-8) there is 1 of these posts available. 

36hrs per week (3 x 12hr shifts) There are 7 of these posts available.

12hrs per week (1 x12hr shift per week) there are 3 of these posts available.

42hrs per week night shift (3x12hr shifts one week and 4x12hr shifts the second week.) There are 2 of these shifts available

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the business we cannot offer set shifts.

Candidates must be IT proficient as we use an electronic care planning system.
