You will ideally have experience within a care home setting and be confident around service users with dementia,

Duties:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of older individuals residing in our state-of-the-art care facility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans
- Supervising and leading a team of care assistants
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Utilizing IT systems for documentation and reporting
- Providing compassionate senior care with a focus on individual needs
- Ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities within the care home

Skills:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in creating and implementing care plans
- Strong leadership abilities to drive team performance
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues
- Experience in supervising staff members effectively
- Competency in using IT systems for administrative tasks

Essential Criteria.

Previous experience of working within an elderly care setting desirable

NVQ Level 2

Medication Competencies & Certificate

Willing to attend training sessions to develop skills

Demonstrate good communication skills

Working on a rota system

Candidates would be expected to work weekends on a rota basis.
