As a care assistant in our care homes, you will receive training from your very first day to ensure you are confident facing whatever comes your way. Life as a care assistant offers something new every single day and our training will make sure you are ready to adapt and learn throughout your time with us.

Shifts are 12hrs, we employ day staff and night staff

Skills / Qualifications:

  • ideally you will have some experience of caring for adults with Mental health diagnosis and/or older person related conditions. A can-do approach and excellent communication skills is essential. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through
  • but above all
  • you’ll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents. In return we'll provide all the training you need to thrive
  • Provides support and encouragement to Service Users in all areas / activities of daily living. · Ensures the respect
  • dignity and rights to privacy of service users as far as possible. · Contributes to the assessment of Service User’s needs and the development of individualised plans of care and support in consultation with Service Users
  • their relatives and the Care Team. · Acts as an associate worker for an identified Service User
  • or designated group. · Works with the care and support team to deliver high standards of service to achieve planned goals
