About the role

 

 

As our Unit Manager, you’ll be responsible for supervising  the care team during assigned shifts, ensuring that residents' personal care is consistently provided based on their individual needs and abilities.
To actively support and foster as much independence and choice as possible for residents in their daily activities within the Nursing Home.
To serve as the Company’s on-site representative, upholding its reputation and ensuring adherence to all relevant statutory regulations related to nursing homes.

 

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

  • Be accountable for the safe storage and proper distribution of all medications brought into the Home, whether by residents or the pharmacist
  • Be responsible for the admission of new residents to the Home for assessment and evaluation, as well as for fostering a positive and collaborative relationship
  • Ensure the care, well-being, and safety of all residents in the nursing home meet the highest possible standards, taking full responsibility for compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Distribute relevant information about new or existing residents as needed, while always adhering to confidentiality principles
  • Be attentive to any psychological changes in residents and report them to the Home Manager or Senior Nurse.
