Middlefields House is seeking for a team player who is proactive and
determined to work in our dynamic ancillary team. As a housekeeper,
you will be responsible for all aspects of the cleaning duties in
accordance with the daily and weekly schedules.
Middlefield's House, our new state of the art home has been built for
48 residents in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Each household feels like a
regular family home, with a lounge and dining area, as well as a
second lounge. There are also communal spaces for the whole home,

Responsibilities:
- Clean client rooms and common areas;
- Help to keep the home hygienic, fresh and tidy;
- Liaise with the Manager on cleaning schedules and cleaning
material stock control;
- Fold items correctly, distribute residents’ clothing and store
linen and household items safely;
- Maintain the Laundry and linen stores in a safe, clean, tidy condition;
- Maintain the general cleanliness of the kitchen and catering equipment;
- Ensure all water and other spillages are cleaned up immediately
after they occur;
- Maintain records as required by your manager;
- Attend meetings and training activities including fire and
evacuation procedures etc. as needed;
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, you must
perform other duties assigned by your manager from time to time that
are within your capabilities.

training as required by the post.
About you:
- You need to be someone who enjoys working with older people and
can have an empathy with them;
- You need to be able to operate laundry equipment in a safe and
reliable manner
- You need to be able to work as part of a team in order to provide
an excellent service to our residents; and
- You must be a well-organised, practical and adaptable person.
Hours:
Bank shifts available (to ensure cover for absence, sickness,
holidays and relief).
