We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Eccleston Court. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients and promoting their well-being in our home. Days and Night shifts are available. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration, in accordance with established nursing protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' medical conditions, symptoms, and vital signs, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR), nursing notes, and medication administration records.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during challenging times, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and clinical expertise as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Curent and up to date NMC PIN 
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound nursing judgments and decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and build rapport with patients and families.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare technology.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a willingness to pursue advanced certifications or specialty training as needed.
