Job Summary
Date posted: 27 February 2025We are currently searching for a brilliant experienced chef to join our team at Ryhope Manor Care Home.
The chef would create delicious and nutritious meals for our
residents, keeping in mind the different dietrary requirements that we
cater for at Ryhope Manor Care Home.
The chef would also be
expected to follow standard food health and safety procedures,
including applicable COVID-19 guidelines.
You would be expected to also participate in compulsory on-site training to ensure that standards and knowledge are kept to a high standard. We will discuss with you the best way for you to participate in the training.

Skills / Qualifications:
- Past experience working as a chef/cook is essential
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the rest of Ryhope Manor Staff
- Fantastic budgeting skills
- High organisational skills
- Great team work skills as you will be working alongisde other kitchen staff and the Home Manager
- Basic Food Hygience Certificates are desriable and any other relevant qualifications
