Head of Care

Greys is a beautiful boutique style family run care home in a prosperous area of Woking in Surrey.  We care for 24 elderly ladies and gentlemn over the age of 65 some living with early stage dementia.  Greys has been run by the same family for nearly 40 years and the team is loyal and dynamic with an innovative and empowering manager.  Fresh thinking care and family values means that Greys has a highly respected reputation amongst local agencies and is often called upon to pioneer new ideas in care development.

Staff are provided the highest level of training taking staff up to the level of Chartered management degrees should they so wish.  Benefits include uniform, meals, pension, accommodation if required and various bonuses.

We value our staff more than anything.  We are now looking for an experienced Head of Care. Someone who has had similar or head of care experience.

Candidate must be

·  Reliable

·  Willing to take on responsibility

·  Organised

·  Punctual

·  Able to lead a team and work as a team

·  Have good communication and listening skills

·  Able to deliver hands on care when required

·  Act as a role model for all staff, demonstrating and ensuring professionalism, good manners and customer service at all times

·  Ensure that staff are effectively recruited, inducted supported and performance managed

·  Have the knowledge to document and record accordingly and professionally.

·  Able to work with outside agencies.

·  Have good rapport with residents and families.

·  Able to take overall control when Registered Manager is off site.
