Senior Care Assistant

Magnolia House is looking for a full time Day Senior Care Assistant to add to our team. We are a residential and dementia Care home for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff on shift
• Guide and support staff
• Carry out supervisions
• Promote good practice
• Ensure and assist to ensure schedules are being completed
• Administer medication to residents
• Care planning for our elderly residents
• Dealing with healthcare professionals, doctors, social workers and families of the elderly.
• Manage a shift competently with the support of the Home manager, and Team Leaders

Requirements

• Minimum NVQ 2 and or working towards NVQ3 or higher.
• Undergo a DBS check which the company would meet the cost of.
• Experience working within a Care Home setting is essential and required

We work on a two weekly rolling rota from 7am-7pm, the shift pattern is as follows:

Week 1

- Monday, Tuesday, Saturday Sunday

Week 2

-Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.32 per hour
