We currently have a position for Head of care to join our team. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic person who will be responsible for the coordination of all aspects of residents care in our a 24-bed unit.

The unit specialises in Dementia care therefore experience with Dementia is a must. You will be responsible for leading the unit, creating a safe & homely environment through the day to day running of the unit and a team of staff

As the Head of care you will be responsible for assisting the homes manager to deliver the best care to our clients, this is a full-time position averaging 40 -45 hours per week.

Purpose of position

Main aim of the position is to maintain and monitor the Health & welfare of the client group and to maximise daily living abilities for all those care for in the home.

To ensure that all aspects of the home adhere to CQC requirements.

Report back to the manager daily, discussing any relevant information regarding clients.

What you need

  • NVQ level 3 or higher (essential)
  • At least 3 years previous experience in a senior HCA level role
  • Previous experience in dementia care
  • Team leading qualification (preferable) but can be accessed through the home
