Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our healthcare team at Weymouth Manor Nursing home. In this pivotal role, where you will be responsible for the clinical governance of all aspects of clinical care within the home. You will support the General Manager in overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise in residents' care and knowledge is essential as you will be facilitating the delivery of excellent nursing care, providing strong strategic, professional clinical leadership as well as liaising with manager in achieving outcomes and crucial in fostering a safe and effective clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the clinical department.
  • Ensure that all residents' care activities are conducted in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
  • Monitor residents outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans for residents.
  • Liaising with heath care professionals to achieve the best physical and mental outcomes for residents.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to residents care and clinical activities using PCS.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Analysis of audit findings and implement action plan to improve the service.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in residents' care and anatomy knowledge.
  • Completing nurses' supervisions, and supporting them to comply with NMC professional regulations and guidelines.
