Team Leader

Job Title: Care Team Leader

Main Purpose: To oversee / maintain the care of all Residents within the care home and, in the absence of the Home Manager, take responsibility for the day to day running of the care home. To delegate tasks and monitor Care Team activity. We are currently looking for Care Team Leaders to join our existing team on 48 hours per week (four 12 hour shifts) working on day shifts from 07.30am to 19.30pm.

Scope of Job:

Main Duties:

• To support and liaise with the Home Manager & Deputy Manager in all aspects of care within the care home
• To supervise a team of care staff on each shift, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times
• To assist in the supervision and induction of junior / inexperienced care staff in all aspects of their training needs and work
• To manage the administration of prescribed medication
• Monitor changes in a residents condition and update records accordingly and report to the Manager, GP, as appropriate
