Day Care Assistant, Dementia and Alzheimers

Stonebow House Residential home is looking for day staff with experience in Dementia and Alzheimers.

The home offers a very good position for a candidate that can help with care of a few residents perhaps showing initial signs of some form of dementia. It is a small home of 27 residents and most of them settled in the day.

The home offers very good training opportunities and succession for those willing to take on a bit more.

The shifts are 12 hour and 6 hours. There are 24 30 and 36hrs available per week.

All care plans are digitised and the home works with Person Centred software. All care notes are entered on a phone device supplied by us.

Duties will include

• Washing /bathing
• Dressing
• Assisting with Oral health
• Supporting and encouraging Independence
• Emotional support
• Supporting with taking medication
• Assisting on occasional day trips
