Care Assistant

We are looking for Care Assistants or persons who would like to develop a career in Health & Social Care to join our team in Park Mount Care Home.

About us

Pallottine Missionary Sisters have provided adult care since 1984 and continue to provide 24 hour residential and dementia care for 41 residents in a beautifully decorated care home, the home is set in substantial well-maintained gardens which boasts a fish pond outside decking and a nature trail.

The Role

You will be part of our dedicated team of carers assisting residents with personal care, promoting independence and personal-centred care. You will also be assisting them with their individual holistic needs through stimulation and activities, under the guidance of our assistant and care managers.

We have 6 and 12-hour shifts available on a rolling rota.

You

You will be cheerful, caring and compassionate, with good communication skills, experience is not essential for this role, however commitment and a desire to develop a career in health and social care is required.

The starting hourly rate is £12.53 per hour and rising to £12.84 for medication administration duties
