Are you our next Activities / Wellbeing Coordinator?
Lovett Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator to join our amazing team at Fairfax Manor Care Home. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in partnership with our team to deliver quality care for a diverse group of residents.
This position is for 26 hours per week over 7 days at £12.25 per hour
You will have previous experience within a care environment.
What does a typical day look like?
Organise and plan activity programmes reflecting residents’
preferences
Produce a newsletter to inform residents and their
relatives and friends what’s going on
Support residents to
access internet and communication such as letter writing, Skype, and
FaceTime
Plan events within an allocated budget
Ensure
residents are at the heart of events and programmes to enhance their
wellbeing
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the
welfare of those individuals they support
Complete daily
reporting of activities and interaction into a resident’s plan of
care
Completion of mandatory E-Learnings
To embed and
demonstrate our company values throughout the day

What experience do I need?
Experience of working in a care/support environment is
preferred
Valid driver’s licence is highly preferred
Experience of working with people in particular those that may have
additional support needs
