About the role-
Your main responsibilities are to deliver high standards of care and to keep residents safe at night whilst always maintaining people’s dignity and respect. You will help people to settle for the night, providing full personal care where needed. In time you will build relationships with the residents enabling you to notice any changes to health and where extra support is needed. Sundial Lodge promotes independence, and we always maintain a high standard of care.
The shifts are 8pm- 8am. You will check residents throughout the night and some light cleaning duties. During the shift you will assist with the updating of residents care plans and risk assessments on our electronic system. We use this to record progress notes such as fluid input/ output, nutrition charts etc. Then in the morning you will help with getting people out of bed and some breakfasts.
