Training Manager

Central England Healthcare a is Nursing Care Home company with six nursing homes located across the West Midlands with its Head Office in Leamington Spa.

We require an experienced and well qualified full-time Training Officer to provide mandatory training to all the company’s staff at its six locations in Leamington Spa, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Stoke, Cannock and Great Wyrley.

The hours of work are 40 hours per week, 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday – Friday and the post holder will be based at Conifers Nursing Home in Great Wyrley. The role is office based and there are no options for home working.

The role is based in Great Wyrley but requires travelling to the company’s other locations some face-to-face mandatory training as well as Training Via Teams to all the Company’s staff in subjects such as manual handling, fire procedures, basic life support, customer care, Record keeping, MCA/DOLS, Safeguarding, infection control, End of life, dementia, supervision skills, tissue viability and Food and nutrition.

You will be an experienced trainer with a teaching/training qualification, with experience of lesson planning, delivering Teams as well as face to face training, evaluating training, and keeping appropriate records. You must hold the Train the Trainer certificate in Manual Handling training. You must also have excellent IT skills.

You must be a car owner and hold a full, clean driving licence.

N.B The role is office based and does not offer hybrid working and the post is subject to DBS and ongoing Covid-19 related vaccinations.
