Head Housekeeper 
Pay rate: £12.75 per hour
Shifts : approx. 08.00am to 16.00 hrs

Hours: Full Time 30 hrs per week (Every other weekend off)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Housekeeper to join the team at Castle Dene, our specialist, elderly and dementia residential care home located in Bournemouth

What you will be doing:

• Leading a small dedicated TEAM.
• Ensuring that cleaning, laundry and domestic equipment is maintained by staff in accordance with manufacturing instructions and health & safety guidelines.
• All minor faults and repairs are reported promptly and recorded
• Ensuring that rooms for viewing are presented to a high standard
• Preparing schedules which identify and allocate responsibility for daily, weekly, monthly, annual and cyclical cleaning / maintenance tasks
• Ordering stock of cleaning products and PPE including ensuring all First Aid boxes are appropriately stocked and sited in accessible areas in the event of an emergency.
• Ensuring our home is kept clean, safe and comfortable throughout for our residents
• Supporting with the cleaning of communal areas and residents own rooms

Who are we looking for:
Previous experience within a care home setting is essential at supervisory level – but we want you to come in and enjoy housekeeping!
A real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.
Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join lead the  housekeeping team.
